There is something special about the time before a Disney trip.
The planning.
The excitement.
The countdown that lives quietly in the back of your mind while you go about everyday life.
For me, that excitement always finds its way to my sewing table.
Creativity and Disney have always been tied together in my world. When I sit down with fabric, thread, and an idea, it feels a little bit like stepping into that same feeling you get when you walk down Main Street for the first time on a trip. Possibility is everywhere.
Sometimes it starts with a piece of fabric that reminds me of a character I love.
Sometimes it is inspired by a park outfit I wish existed.
Sometimes it is simply the feeling of wanting to carry a bit of that magic with me long before I step onto a plane or ship.
That is how many of the pieces at Mouse Made Magic come to life.

A cozy hoodie made for cool evenings after fireworks.
Every stitch holds a little piece of that excitement.
One of my favourite parts of creating is knowing that these pieces will travel. They will walk through parks, board cruise ships, sit beside castle photos, and become part of someone’s memories.
Disney trips are about more than rides and characters. They are about the feeling of wonder. The feeling that anything is possible for a little while.
Creativity keeps that feeling alive.
So while I wait for my next trip, I sew.
I design.
I imagine the outfits, the park days, and the stories that will come with them.
Mouse Made Magic was built from that exact feeling.
The excitement of creating something special.
The joy of sharing it with other Disney lovers.
And the belief that a little creativity can bring a bit of magic into everyday life.

Hi, I’m Rebecca, a lifelong crafter and seamstress who has been sewing since my teens. What started as a creative outlet became a calling. Over the years I have taught thousands how to sew, but my favorite place is still behind my machine, turning ideas into something you can hold.
This space is where I share that work.
From statement totes to custom ears, every piece is designed and handcrafted in small batches. I focus on timeless shapes, quality materials, and thoughtful details that make each item feel personal. Some pieces are bold and playful. Others are subtle and classic. All of them are made with care.
What matters most to me is that what you carry or wear feels like you.
Many of my pieces include custom elements, especially linings and fabric selections. I love collaborating with customers to create something that reflects their style, whether that means soft neutrals, vibrant prints, nostalgic patterns, or something in between.
In a world of mass production and fast trends, I choose slower craftsmanship. Real stitching. Real fabric. Real hands.
